Every piece of furniture that leaves our warehouse goes through a structured 3-level quality check — here's exactly what that means and why it matters for you.

Why Quality Checks Matter in Furniture Rental

Unlike buying new furniture from a showroom, rental furniture has a lifecycle — it may have been used by a previous customer before arriving at your home. Without a rigorous quality process, you could end up with furniture that has scratches, loose joints, stained upholstery, or worse.

Our 3-level quality check exists to ensure that every customer — whether they're the first or the fifth renter of a piece — receives furniture that feels and functions like new.

Level 1: Incoming Inspection (When Furniture Returns)

Every time a piece of furniture is returned by a customer, it goes through a thorough incoming inspection before it's cleared for re-rental.

What we check at Level 1:

• 🔍 Structural integrity — joints, legs, frames, and hinges are tested for stability
• 🧹 Surface condition — scratches, dents, chips, and finish damage are documented
• 🛋️ Upholstery condition — fabric sofas and cushioned items are checked for stains, tears, or wear
• 🔧 Functional parts — storage mechanisms, drawer slides, wardrobe hinges, and bed slats are tested
• 🧴 Cleanliness — items are assessed for cleaning requirements before storage

Items that pass Level 1 move to storage. Items that need repair or refurbishment are flagged and sent to our service team.

Level 2: Refurbishment & Repair

Any furniture flagged during Level 1 goes through our in-house refurbishment process before it's eligible for re-rental.

What refurbishment includes:

• 🔨 Structural repairs — tightening joints, replacing damaged legs or slats, fixing hinges
• 🎨 Surface restoration — touch-up painting, polishing, or refinishing where needed
• 🧵 Upholstery cleaning or replacement — deep cleaning for fabric items; replacement if wear is beyond acceptable limits
• ⚙️ Mechanism servicing — hydraulic storage beds, wardrobe locks, and drawer runners are serviced or replaced

Furniture that cannot be restored to our quality standard is retired from the rental fleet entirely. We do not rent out furniture that doesn't meet our standards, regardless of its age.

Level 3: Pre-Delivery Inspection

This is the final check — done just before your furniture is loaded onto the delivery vehicle. It's our last line of defence to ensure what reaches your home is exactly what was approved.

What we check at Level 3:
